Speaker 1:

Jesus said I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was homeless and you opened your home to me. Matthew, chapter 25, verse 35. A couple wanted to help a neighborhood girl whose alcoholic mother had died when she was young. Her father had been unable to hold a job for very long. One day he didn't come home after work and they never saw him again. With no money to pay rent and no desire to remain in school, she was willing to stay with whoever would take her in. In an upstairs room they set up a baby bed for her infant son, took her to church with them and tried to make her feel at home. After both she and her jewelry disappeared, they still prayed she would give her heart to the Lord when we really care for people.

Speaker 1:

Rejection isn't enough to make us quit loving when someone doesn't share our passion for Christ. We should remember how patient God has been with us and strengthen our desire to keep doing all we can. By serving those who Christ loves, we minister to Christ Himself. I would like to say a little prayer with you today. If you're tired, you're exhausted from running or just trying to help others, please pray with me this morning. Father, in the precious name of your Son, jesus, I ask you to give me strength that I need, not just in my body, but in my mind. Father, please help me to do all I can to win those around me to Christ. God, I know that you're able to do all things, and I ask you to give me the energy to continue to do good for those who despise me and speak all manner of evil against me. God, as your perfect will is done in my life, so let it be done in the lives of others. If you prayed this today, reach out to us. Tpmrevivalscom.
